Symbiosis Stress Management Program (SSMP)
Objectives:
The education is not restricted only to academics but also to educate and encourage people to live a healthy life. With this perspective, Symbiosis has developed a platform called “Symbiosis Stress Management Program” (SSMP) with the objective to serve the society to manage the stress in an efficient way in order to experience Peace, Prosperity, and Happiness in life.
Program Structure:-
Session 1 - Stress Releasing Techniques (SRT-1)
Practical session 1 will consist of four aspects of Yoga which helps to release the stress and make the body and mind light.
The four aspects are :-
- Asanas – for physical health
- Pranayama – for pranic health
- Relaxation – for mental health
- Meditation – for emotional health
Session 2 - Interactive Session
The objective of Interaction session is to include all the participants to participate in the program with their thoughts and ideas. This process makes the environment light and friendly which will eventually help them to be more receptive and open. There are three points which shall be discussed in the Interaction session:-
- Concept of stress- Participants will share their point of views which create stress in life.
- Discovering positive qualities - Participants will be asked to share the positive qualities which help to become stress-free & successful.
- Sorting inner quality- Participants will be asked to sort out ONE inner quality which is inherent in her/him. (Strength factor).
Session 3- Stress Releasing Techniques (SRT-2)
- Highlighting the importance & benefits Yoga Nidra & Meditation.
- Yoga Nidra is used as a tool to release deeper inner stress.
- Meditation as a tool to heal the emotional injury and manage the mind.
Session 4- Quick Stress Releasing Techniques (QSRT)
- Practice of Quick Stress Releasing Techniques (QSRT)- In this section participants will be introduced to practice the methods to release the stress quickly, during working hours and most important without disturbing others.
- Revision- Participants will revise and practice the set of Asanas, Pranayamas, Relaxation & Meditation techniques so that they can continue at their home. Before this session begins, they will be given printouts of the practices & literature.
